Head of Telenor Hungary’s Consumer Call Center has won a Special Award in the Young Leader of the Year award program

Róbert Nemes, Head of Telenor Hungary’s Consumer Call Center in Szeged, has won a Special Award in the Young Leader of the Year award program. 

The recognition unique in Hungary is granted to leaders who achieve outstanding results in their field at an age younger than 40. When evaluating nominations, the way and efficiency of COVID response was also considered by the jury this year. 

Róbert Nemes joined Telenor in 2012. At the age of 33, he is head of a 160-strong team working to provide the best possible customer service quality in the market. He considers it his personal mission to create an attractive workplace and an inclusive community. In March this year, he successfully managed the transition of Telenor’s entire customer service to home office in a few days. Róbert and his colleagues worked hard to maintain efficiency in the changed environment while observing employees’ needs. 

Róbert is a father of three and is also a professional athlete. He finished 11th at the World Bench Press Championship in Tokyo, 1st at the Bench Press Team Championship in 2019 and 2nd  at the European Bench Press Cup of 2017.
