Telenor reopens one of its first upgraded shops in Keszthely

Mobile operator has new design and new site from 7 August

Telenor has continued its shop upgrade program in Keszthely. After the iconic Astoria Telenor shop reopened in late May and the shop in Várpalota, the Telenor shop in Keszthely is the operator’s third fully upgraded shop in Hungary.

The new shop design was created by multiple award-winning Hungarian architect studio Pyxis Nautica. Based on the new concept, visitors enter an interior featuring a friendly café-like atmosphere rather than a rigid and sterile shop environment. Birch plywood furniture also contribute to the streamlined, environmentally-conscious design.

High-quality customer service has been a strategic priority for Telenor for years. As a result, the shop was transformed with the enhancement of the customer experience and the sales experience in mind.

“Although the popularity of online services grew tremendously during the lockdown, personal contact is still important for our customers and we can provide them with the most efficient support in person. If shop staff work in a motivating environment, customers will also benefit. We are very proud that the Keszthely shop has been our third outlet upgraded in Hungary”, said Árpád Németh, Regional Manager of Telenor Hungary’s Southwest Region.

The redesigned shop moved to a new site at Kossuth Lajos u. 23. where it was reopened for old and new customers on 7 August.
